Dry roast oats and grind into a fine powder
Mix oats powder, curd, carrots, coriander, and salt into a batter, adjust consistency with water.
Add baking soda just before steaming.
Steam the idles for 10-12 minutes.
Serve warm with sambar or Chutney.
